Hello Everyone!     My name is Carson Hager and I am a degree partnership student in my third year at Oregon State. I am studying Accountancy and I have been taking some core classes here at Linn Benton to save some money. I decided to take this class in order to fulfill a business core requirement. I also work at a local tax office here in Corvallis Tax and Wealth Management. I was an intern during the winter for the tax season and now have been promoted to lead intern to run the intern program for the upcoming tax season. This position has given me the opportunity to be in a leadership position and the tasks of preparing training material and recruiting tasks.     I hope that one day I can start my own financial services firm. Taking this class will be beneficial to me in order to learn how to promote my services. When starting a firm like I do another firm may not know how to properly market their services and the skills I gain from this class will separate me from the competition.
